Ali Afif Ahmad was born 14th February, 1983. He is the son of Najwa and Afif Ahmad, the two people that he admired the most in this world.
Ali has always been very ambitious and succesful - if he aimed for something he was sure to work his way and get it. His friends all loved him, because he had a great heart and personality. He left this world with no enemies and held no grudges with anyone. He graduated from the Antwerp Internation School with great respect from students and teachers, he continued his education in UCL, where he graduated 3 weeks before his passing away. He had great plans for the year and he was really excited about them. Part of his plan was start his life in Guinea with his father for a month and help him out with the organization of the business. He had already started by helping out with the Internet ISP's, he hired a programmer to sort some things out, which would make life easier for his father. He also reorganized the office a bit so that it's easier to find documents or anything for the matter. |

I spoke to Ali the day before he left us, and he told me he was really happy and was proud of himself as he felt he was doing something useful while at the same time comforting his father, and enjoying himself. He told me he wouldnt mind staying there for a while, as he was enjoying working, being with his dad, and playing Tennis.
Ali was a strong person that kept his head up high and positive no matter what the circumstance was, and because of that I know that the last thing he would want any of us to be, is weak. If he was here right now, he would be telling us how to stay positive and to reflect upon the good memoreis we had with him, and laugh about them rather then cry.
Amo Afifi, Aunti Najwa, Darine, Ahmad, Zainab, and Neveen - Please stay strong, just as you have always been - Ali's love to you was unexplainable - his whole life was dedicated to you;
Amo Afif - Ali appreciated everything you have done for him his whole life, and he went to Guinea because he really wanted to learn from you and only you - he really wanted to be like his father;
Aunti Najwa - If I took a penny everytime Ali told me how much he loved you and appreciated what you do for him, his brother and sisters, I might have been rich by now - he once wrote a poem about you and read it to me to ask me what I think of it;
Darine - You were Ali's older sister, best friend, and inspiration;
Ahmad - You meant the world to your bro. You looked at him as your idol, so follow in his footsteps and keep strong, you're the man of the family now;
Zainab - Ali saw alot in you that reminded him of himself, he always thought of you and Neveen whenever he wanted to feel relaxed and comfortable;
Neveen - You were the angel that lit up Ali's life.
Ali left us happy so maybe we should all remember him that way and hope he's enjoying his new home in a better place.
