 I was deeply shocked when i heard the terrible news. I knever knew Ali that well, but i had met him several times before, when i came to Zainab's house. He seemed like an amazing guy, who made many people's life better. I know that Zainab really inspired her older brother, as the rest of her family did. I wish the family all the strength they need, and just remember that many people are here for you. Ali, you are loved by everyone, and will be missed very much. May you rest in peace.

 Ali, I'm going to miss you man. You were one of the people that I met at UCL who i can consider a genuine friend. You were always ready to talk and ready to help out others. I'm gonna remember the times we went out clubbing and the times you came over and we talked. I'm going to miss them man. You had so much going for you - and you were ready to take it on.
I remember us talking about Belgium - and about Lebanon and Pakistan. We shared many stories - and many talks. You were one of the true friends in univeristy - one of the people i could actually talk to.
I remember standing outside the library one week before our final exams and we stood there talking for about an hour about everything - the end of university - our hopes - the future - the past. I'll never forget that man - thank you for being such a great friend.

To Ali's family: My prayers are with you and with Ali - i hope that Allah will take care of you in this difficult time.

 One of my strongest memories of Ali was his 16th birthday- he was born on Valentine's Day and that special 16th year we had a big Valentine's Day dance at AIS. The Fine Arts foyer was all decorated and almost all the kids were present. What it really was, however, was a surprise birthday party for Ali. Darine was there and at one point in the evening she presented her brother with a beautiful heart-shaped cake which we all shared. The love and respect between Ali and his older sister was palpable that evening and that's the way Ali felt about his entire family.

Some people live to their 80s and 90s--Ali lived 21 years. I would venture to guess, however, that Ali, in such a short period of time, got more out of life through his family, his friendships, his vision, and his appreciation for people than others are able to do over decades.

 Ali's shock was the same one i felt when my uncle ali malek left us,that time i couldnt believe what happened and i always feel that its not true.and now Ali Ahmad has also left us,and its realy very hard for all of us to accept it.I didnt know ali very well,I once saw him in my grandparents house,he was uncle Ali's friend.I know how hard it is for khalto Najwa to accept it,and may god be with her and give her strength.Ali I know you will meet uncle ali in heaven so rest in peace both of u and tell uncle ali I love him so much and deeply miss him...Every step we take,every single day,every time we pray we will be missing you....

 Ali was one of the best people i've known. I admired him in so many ways i can't even begin to explain it. Everytime he would call, i knew it would be something fun he has come up with. His company was nothing less than sheer pleasure. His jokes, his smile, his focus on life and work, his ability to convince me no matter how lazy I was to go play squash at his UCL sports center. He has taught me so much in such a short time. I will never forget all the times we would meet at Regent's Park after school and we would just talk. Talk about friends, about girls, about life, about the world, about our futures and how it would be if we met again in the future when we're both married and are big big business men..

Sadly this is where our roads part but i will always have him with me.. He had the gift of touching everyone's heart and spirit. His biggest strenght was his unquestionable love for his family, his friends and everything life had to offer. With his departure from this world, he has left us with his love and his strenght.

We will meet again.. We will talk again.. But for now rest in peace Ali..

 Do you find it strange when a friend of a friend dies, even if you don't know the person, you loose something inside you, that something is unknown/ Even if you don't know the person like i never know Ali Ahmad, you still feel the pain and sorrow that suck a great person, with a great life ahead of them, has been lost.

It's impossible for any person to put down in words how much grief and pain his family will be going through at the moment but my thoughts along with many others are of course with the Ahmad family.

 It is with deepest sorrow that this news has reached us in Oman. Amy and I were always amazed at the closeness and love the Ahmad family shared. We always hoped that when we started our own family we would have the same bond. Amy and I taught or coached every Ahmad family member except for Darine, and we truly cherished our time with these amazing people. My memories of Ali will always be of a gentle soul who always had a smile on his face. He made those around him better. I remember Ahmad as a fifth grader so proud of his big brother, and I thought how lucky Ahmad was to have such a positive role model to help guide him through life. I still have a poem Ahmad wrote in fifth grade about his family. His first line was "The love in my heart. The reason for my existence." Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

 Ali was a brother to me, my best friend! University would not have been the same without him. All the lunches at Zizzi's (Ali's favourite restaurant in London) and the UCL cafetaria - old refectory (his worst), all the studying sessions we had, clubbing at Tantra, Elysium, Panjiya, UCL cocktails, the new passion of his life- playing squash and sitting on the hill on regents park, the movies, dinners, chilling at each other's places, the courseworks and helping each other in work.. the list can go on and on. I have too many memories to even begin counting. Most of all I will remember the long conversations on the phone about life, work, business, family, religion, cultures and about each other's futures that we had. Ali just graduated less than 3 weeks ago with honours! I really admire him. He was always so cheerful, sporty, hardworking too and a natural genius. He was so excited on his fothcoming life as a businessman.. always telling me "we have to do business together" and his plans to set up a diamond manufacturing plant in lebanon.

I can still remember one of the biggest projects we did. It was a project done by 2 people in developing a complete e-commerce business from the business plan to the execution and we made it on selling online customzied jewellery. He came up with a very unique name for the concept of selling customized jewellery - Eternal Creations - since he kept insisting that diamonds come from the earth and are the creation of God. We humans too are the creation of that God and it is in the Eternal's God's hand how our fates are written. God had other plans for Ali. He is probably in a much nicer world than here. I pray for him and his family. May his soul rest in peace.

I am absolutely shocked at this loss. I cannot express the grief that has overcome me. Ali was one of the nicest persons i have ever met and a dearest friend. he was supposed to come to surat with me for training in a month's time. i cannot even understand how something so cruel can happen to such a nice person who had the largest heart. Ali, you were a true friend and a great guy!!!! i am really really gonna miss you!!! but as they say, death is not the end but a new beginning; and this is your new beginning!

To Ali's family, I am extremely sorry for this loss and I want you to know that all us Ali's friends are always going to be there for you.

 I didn't know Ali, but had the pleasure of coaching both Ahmad and Zainab and meeting the family who were always there to cheer them on.

 Not only was I shocked to hear about this tragedy but just completely shattered inside..
Whenever I saw a picture of Ali, he always had a smile on his face which truly expressed the person he really was. A smile says it all. From what I have seen and heard, he was a person beautiful on the inside as well as on the outside.
I never had the chance to converse with him or really hang out with him, but the things that I have heard about him were so good he had a great life ahead of him.

 What can i say? it was last sunday that aunty Najwa called me twice and told me that she feels that something bad will happen; i told her no what could it be, she said i dont know but i feel it.So at night i was sitting in room till my dad came and said there is a very bad news, u wont beleive what happened.It choked me soo much, i didnt beleive my ears.
Ali was one of the greatest people we can ever meet, he was always there to put a smile on my face.
This summer we spent much time together,Ali was always there to give me advices about life and tell me what to do,Ali was a very wise person and knew very well how to deal with things.
